Charley Stevens: Mexi-FILES

Well, Charley has taken up permanent residence in Puerto now.  It was sort of the plan all along but he had to figure it out and get settled in and dialed first.  He'll be back to Carlsbad sometime in September before taking up residence on the North Shore this Winter but for now - he's Puerto Escondido all the way. Here's a quick photo installment of Charley's house, surrounding setting and Jenny Useldinger...

Swell is on the way... sorry for the "dryspell" on this blog installment!!

Okay, so this is the local smoothy shop - and that's the door to my house on the right - so legit!

This is my bedroom ladies..... pretty chill.  Everyone's boards are crowding the place though.

The view out my bedroom window.  And that dirt road is the way out to surf... On the pulse!

View off to the right, tha'ts called "Titty Peak".... ha, seriously.  Gooooood spot.

Jenny Useldinger hangin' out...  She likes to chill out in her wetsuit.

The "Kitchen"... it's pretty legit for down here.  Stoked on it.

Oh ya, my building I'm living in also is a massage place - pretty sweet.  They've really got some healing hands in that place!

This is Javier whippin' up my daily smoothy.  So legit - I get one every day.  Good neighbors.

This is my "Mate' Cup" and "Bombilla Straw" - Gonna make a new global buzz on this!!! C'mon!

This is my buddy from RW Surfboards back in Cali - He's posted up here now doing ding repair, pretty cool.

The best breakfast in town after a morning surf!!

Need stitches?  Dr. Pepe is the man - right down my street.

Need to get y'r drink on?  Gotta party it up?  This sketchy place should work for ya - I got my JP hat stolen right off my head at this place the other night.

Local Taxi comin' up my street - they're always carrying boards on the roof, it's classic.

This is the main street in town - all under construction now.  Business is picking up in this area though so the city is trying to pull it together and make it more tourist friendly and legit.  Stoked for the people here, the economic opportunity is growing for them, it's exciting to watch!

And finally, the beach.  Red flag's up on the guard tower... still waiting for some of that classic Puerto swell!!

Thanks for checkin' out my photos... can't wait 'til it starts firing down here again!
