The New "GameChanger Rideshort"
We are evolving to the next level, once again.
A few seasons ago, we first introduced to you the "Rideshort" category of boardshorts, which we created. We made it a series and it took off and grew quickly in popularity. Young aggressive riders from all over the action sports realm started raving about these new Jetpilot Rideshorts, namely The Crown Jewel & Boat Trip. The word of mouth news spread like wildfire.
Incase you haven't heard yet or feel like you're in the dark here: Rideshorts are a category we created ourselves here at Jetpilot. They are basically, Boardshorts but they have an added fitted liner inside them that attaches at the waistline - the liners are either made of slick-lycra for rash free enjoyment (See: Boat Trip Rideshort) or flex-lite neoprene (wetsuit material) for rash free AND insulating enjoyment (See: Crown Jewel Rideshort). They work INSANE. The inspiration came from our long history working with our pro athletes and designing wetsuits as well as boardshorts.... Rideshorts married the two categories into one amazing, innovative product concept.
That being said.... we just evolved the Rideshort to another level with The GameChanger. We're so excited about this new Rideshort that we really couldn't contain ourselves, we'll be honest. It's hitting US soil NOW and it will be the most innovative, groundbreaking "Trunk" ever built... no joke. We can explain below - check it out:
The First major design feature with this GameChanger Rideshort, is that the liner is completely removeable. It zips in and out very easily. So, you can choose to use it with the liner installed, or go without it and enjoy the GameChanger as a technical boardshort.
The liner is 2mm Flex-Lite Ultra Neoprene - It has 50% MORE stretch than our Crown Jewel liner with standard Flex-Lite Neoprene. It's stretchy, comfortable, insulative like a wetsuit and will protect your "Jewels" from rash (amazing). Best of all: IT'S REMOVEABLE! Zip it in, or zip it out.
Next up - the outer shell Boardshort. It's made from our new 360ยบ stretch nylon. The material is woven to be thin, ultra-lite, very durable and also very stretchy and flexible. The design is very streamlined as well. There are no added, unnecessary seams or patches or applique graphics for this outer shell. Graphics are sublimated into the nylon, so everything stays comfy and clean. The design intent here was pure performance above all.... and these trunks PERFORM.
We didn't forget the details. That's where the separation from a "good" to "excellent" dwells - in the fine details. Example: For the new GameChanger, we added our new "Sure-Tie" 3-D engineered reinforcement tabs to the cinch-tie waist. They actually are designed for two purposes: 1. They strengthen the waist tabs. 2. They help to hold the laces in place, without slipping once you've cinched them down to a desirable tightness. There are many many other little construction and design details we added to the GameChanger Rideshort but we'll let you discover them on your own when you finally get a pair and feel the difference.
At Jetpilot, we strive to push the boundaries in all the product categories that we offer. For the Boardshort category, we've pushed it so far over the years that what has evolved here is actually a whole new category that we named "Rideshorts". This November, you'll have to try and get yourself a set of GameChangers. We think you're really going to love them. We also truly believe that the game has now changed and the next level is here.
