"My old man got me into surfing at an early age. I competed alot up until I was 18 but I got burnt out going to comps every weekend & surfing crowded line ups on Northern Beaches in Sydney, where I grew up.
In '96 after returning from a season in Hawaii, tow surfing was starting to become popular. I was lucky that my Dad always rode jetski's, so had my first session with him that started an addiction.
I moved to the South West of WA in '99 and hooked up with Alfy some years later & started towing the bombies around here on a regular basis.
I feel blessed to live in place like this, from the south, to the desert in the north, with such a wide variety of waves, it allows me to enjoy & appreciate what I have on my doorstep."
